Jaded Speck Publishing was founded by NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Liliana Rhodes.

After a lifetime of dreaming about being an author, Liliana sat holding her infant son and wondered how she could tell him he could be anything he wanted to be if he pursued it hard enough, when she never did it herself. Not wanting to be a hypocrite, Liliana started looking into the publishing world and what options there could be. When she discovered Indie Publishing she realized that was exactly what she wanted to do.

In July 2012, she published two short stories. She believed that whatever happened, good or bad, she could at least point to her effort and say she tried.

Not only did Liliana achieve her dream of becoming an author, but later that year she created Jaded Speck Publishing so she could help others too. While the name might be eclectic, she chose the name based on what she called her son before she knew his gender. Back when he was just a small speck.
